Winifred Brooks
Winifred was born on October 16th, 1934. Winifred's father was
James Raymond Brooks and her mother was
Mary Jane Webster. Her maternal grandparents were
Alexander Webster and
Helen Sutherland. She had two sisters named
Helen and
Marion. She is the youngest of the three children.
Winnie (nee Brooks) Peacefully and surrounded by her family at The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital on 21st October 2021. Beloved wife of the late James Maclean, loving mother of Morag, Alastair, and David and grandma to Emma, Rory and Jamie. Funeral at South Lanarkshire Crematorium on Saturday 6th November at 12 noon. Thanks to Dr Lynch of Rutherglen Health Centre, the staff of Acute Receiving Ward 5 and Ward 8A at The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, and to the team of carers at Keane all of whom cared so well for Winnie at the end of her life. No flowers please.
