George Wilkey
George was born on September 17th, 1915. George's father was
Alfred Walter Wilkey and his mother was
Harriet Goody. His maternal grandparents were
Daniel Thomas Goody and
Hannah Ann Hall. He was an only child.
We are reliably informed that George was known to everyone as "Wally" after his father.
He was a complete eccentric and used to write to Winston Churchill quite often and certainly had replies from him.
