Female Emma Rosina Goody

Emma was born on December 25th, 1906.  Emma's father was Thomas Daniel Goody and her mother was Martha Rosina Hemmings.  Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Thomas Goody and Hannah Ann Hall. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Daniel, James, Joseph, William, George, Annie, Sarah, Florence and Louisa.  She was the seventh oldest of the ten children.

Birth was registered between Jan-Mar 1907 in Mile End Registration District.
Parish records show that she was born on Christmas Day 1907 and christened at St Luke's Church, Burdett Road, Mile End Old Town by D B Sproule on 12th January 1907. She was living at 33 Cadiz Street, Stepney at the time of her christening. Her father was a Gasworks Labourer.
1911 Census shows that she was 4 years of age born in Mile End, London and living at 32 Bohn Street, Stepney, Mile End Old Town, London.

Emma's family with Nicholas Thomas Humphrey

Emma and Nicholas were married on September 6th, 1930.  They had two daughters named Doreen and Jean.
Married in the Stepney Registration District between July-Sept 1930.
Parish records show that they were married in St Faith's Church, Shandy Street, Stepney on 6th September 1930 by R A Edwards.
Nicholas was living at 63 Emmott Street, Stepney and Emma was living at 32 Bohn Street, Stepney.
The witnesses were Louisa Goody and George Humphrey.
