Female Annie Goody

Annie was born on March 2nd, 1896.  Annie's father was Thomas Daniel Goody and her mother was Martha Rosina Hemmings.  Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Thomas Goody and Hannah Ann Hall. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Daniel, James, Joseph, William, George, Sarah, Florence, Emma and Louisa.  She was the second oldest of the ten children.

General Notes

Birth was registered between April-June 1896 in Mile End Registration District.
Parish records show that she was christened at St John  the Evangelist Church, St George in the East (Shadwell) by Charles Reeder on 18th March 1896. She was living at 11 Pole Street, St George in the East (Shadwell) at the time she was christened and her father was a Gasworks Labourer.
1901 Census shows that she was 5 years of age, born in Stepney, London and living at 33 Cadiz Street, Stepney, London.
1911 Census shows that she was 15 years of age,  born in Mile End, London and living at 32 Bohn Street, Stepney, Mile End Old Town, London.

Annie's family with George Hughes

Annie and George were married on December 31st, 1922.  They had a son named Derrick.
Marriage was registered between Oct-Dec 1922 in Limehouse Registration District.
Parish records show that they were married in St Dunstan & All Saints Church, Stepney, London on 31st December 1922 by Herbert Members.
The witnesses were T D Goody, Florence Goody and W Dearman.
George was living at 26 Bohn Street and Annie at 32 Bohn Street at the time of their marriage.
