Anna was born on March 25th, 1917. Anna's father was
Josiah Tabner and her mother was
Mary Adelia Everett. Her paternal grandparents were
Frederic Tabner and
Sarah Tabner. She had a brother and three sisters, named

Ethel,
Mabel and
Amy. She was the fourth oldest of the five children.
She was born in Granville Ferry, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia, Canada.
She served as a Corporal in The Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War .
