Thorn Hele Ash

Thorn was born in 1901.  Thorn's father was Percy Walter Hele Ash and his mother was Mary Rodrigues Brandon.  His maternal grandparents were Joseph Rodrigues Brandon and Sarah Cecilia Florance. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Selby, Joseph, Julian, Gwendoline and Georgina.  He was the youngest of the six children.
