John Haldane
John was born in 1883. John's father was
John Haldane and his mother was
Mary Marshall. His paternal grandparents were
William Haldane and
Ann Brown; his maternal grandparents were
William Marshall and
Jessie Campbell. He had a brother and a sister, named
James and
Jessie. He was the oldest of the three children.

He trained as a Master Baker and later moved to England where he worked for Co-operative Society in Northumberland before finally settling in Ponteland, Northumberland.
Death was registered between April-June 1955 in Newcastle-upon-Tyne Registration District. He was fatally injured whilst out walking on the roads near Ponteland, Northumberland.
Died at the age of 72 in 1955.
