William Thomas Goody
William was born in 1866. William's father was
Daniel Thomas Goody and his mother was
Hannah Ann Hall. His paternal grandparents were
William Henry Goody and
Jane Elizabeth Honeywell. He had four brothers and six sisters, named
Thomas,
Joseph,
Henry,
John,
Annie,
Jane,
Florence,
Charlotte,
Sarah and
Harriet. He was the second oldest of the eleven children.
Birth was registered between July and September 1866 in the Mile End Registration District, London, England.
1881 Census shows that he was 14 years of age, born in Stepney, Middlesex and living at 56 Duckett Street, Stepney, Middlesex.

1881 Census shows he was a Ropemaker.
Died whilst residing in Bancroft Lodge, Bancroft Road, Mile End, London during July-August 1920. He was buried in Tower Hamlets Cemetery on 5th August 1920 at 54 years of age, the ceremony was performed by L Nixon.
We think that Bancroft Lodge was a workhouse behind Bancroft Road Hospital at this time.
Died at the age of 54 on August 5th, 1920.
