Annie was born in 1908. Annie's father was
John Goody and her mother was
Annie Ashmore.
Her paternal grandparents were

Mary. She is the second oldest of the six children.

At one time Annie took over the licence of the Jug House in Stepney, London. Just before the Second World War she became the publican at the Kings Arms in Bow Road, Bow, London whilst her husband worked for the Gas Company.
