Arthur was born in 1899. Arthur's father was

England's National Probate and Will records show that his home address was in Bois Fleuri Ouchy, Lausanne, Switzerland. Probate was granted to Doris Ruth Abecasis, spinster. His effects were valued at £71 10s 7d.
Death Notes
He died whilst serving as a 2nd Lieutenant with the 6th Battalion Somerset Light Infantry at Wancourt, France. He is buried in Tigris Lane Cemetery, Wancourt, Pas de Calais, France, Cemetery/memorial reference: I. E. 7.
