Female Mary Ann Goody

Mary was born on October 24th, 1878.  Mary's father was Frederick Samuel Goody and her mother was Sarah Hines.  Her paternal grandfather was Samuel Goody and her paternal grandmother is Mary Ann Butler. She had four brothers named Samuel, Frederick, Thomas and John.  She was the third oldest of the five children. She had two half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Owen, Henry, Emma, Kate, Florrie, Ada, Mary Ann and Beatrice.

Parish records show that she was christened in St Leonard Church, Shoreditch, London on 17th November 1878 by W A Cox whilst residing at 5 Duncan Road, Hackney, London.
1881 Census states she was 2 years of age, born in Shoreditch, Middlesex and living at 7 Canal Road, Shoreditch, Middlesex.
1891 Census shows that she was 12 years of age, born in Shoreditch, London and living in 28 The Stables, 34 Felton Street, Shoreditch, London.
1911 Census shows that she was 32 years of age, born in Hackney, London and living in Shoreditch, London.

Occupation Details

Parish records at the time of her marriage show that she was a Boxmaker.

Death Notes

Death was registered between Oct-Dec 1960 in Wandsworth Registration District. Died at the age of 82 in 1960.

Mary's first family with Henry Charles Bolton

Mary and Henry were married on May 29th, 1898.
Marriage was registered between April-June 1898 in Shoreditch Registration District.
Parish records show that they were married in St Andrews Church, Canal Road, Hoxton, Shoreditch on 29th May 1898 by H R Moore. 
The witnesses to their marriage were Frederick Goody and Mary Ann Goody.
Henry was shown as being a bachelor and Mary Ann as a spinster.
They were both shown as living at 38 Mortimer Road, Shoreditch, London.

Mary's second family with Frederick Ernest McMurdie

Mary and Frederick were married.  They had a daughter named Beatrice.
Marriage was registered between April-June 1901 in Shoreditch Registration District.
Parish records show that they were married in St Saviour Church, Hoxton, London by R M Carrick on 26th May 1901.
The witnesses were George Ernest Stocker and Annie Elizabeth Tongue.

Mary Ann was shown as being a widow living at 25 Branch Place, Shoreditch.
