Male George Goody

George was born on March 14th, 1850.  George's father was William Henry Goody and his mother was Jane Elizabeth Honeywell.  His paternal grandparents were Daniel Goody and Anne Siggins. He had five brothers and two sisters, named William, Daniel, John, Henry, Joseph, Elizabeth and Elizabeth.  He was the seventh oldest of the eight children.

He was christened in St Dunstan & All Saint's Church, Stepney, London, England on 21st April 1850 whilst residing at 2 Westover Street, Stepney and his father was a bricklayer.
1851 Census shows that he was 1 year of age and living in Stepney, Middlesex.
1861 Census shows that he was 11 years of age and living in Mile End Old Town Eastern, Middlesex.
1871 Census shows that he was 21 years of age, born in Stepney, Middlesex and living at 1 Westover Street, Mile End Old Town.
1891 Census shows that he was 41 years of age, born in Poplar, London and living in Poplar, London.

Occupation Details

1881 Census shows he was a Labourer.

Death Notes

Death was registered between April and June 1900 at 50 years of age in the Poplar Registration District, London, England. Died at the age of 50 in 1900.

George's family with Martha Blamforth

George and Martha were married on February 13th, 1888.  They had two sons named George and William.
Married at St John's Church, Halley Street, Stepney, London, England by G A Sullivan.
George and Martha were both living at 115 Coutt's Road, Stepney at the time of their marriage.
The witnesses were William Taylor and Iain Duckham.
George was a bachelor at the time of his marriage and Martha was a widow.
Coutt's Road is now under King George's Playing Fields, Stepney.
