1881 Census shows she was the stepdaughter of Henry A Lufton who had married her mother Mary Ann Goody in Maldon Registration District between Oct-Dec 1871. 1881 Census also shows that Esther was born in Lazermary, Essex but this should read Layer Marney, Essex.
1901 Census shows she was 34 years of age, born in Great Totham, Essex and living in Inworth, Essex.
ESTHER IS THE FIRST COUSIN OF ARTHUR, HER HUSBAND. SHE IS THE DAUGHTER OF THOMAS JAMES GOODY AND MARY ANN ELIZA MOSS WHO ARE SHOWN ON THE VERY LEFT HAND SIDE OF THIS TREE.
1911 Census shows that she was 44 years of age, born in Little Totham, Essex and living Near Vine Farm, Tiptree, Essex.
