Cecil George Goody
Cecil was born in 1893. Cecil's father was
Joshua Goody and his mother was
Mary Ann Evans. His paternal grandfather was
Job Goody and his paternal grandmother is
Sarah Smith. He had two brothers and three sisters, named
Joshua,
Arthur,
Nellie,
Rosina and
Minnie. He was the youngest of the six children.
Birth was registered between July-Sept 1893 in Sudbury Registration District.

He died during the First World War whilst serving as a Private with the 21st (Tyneside Scottish) Bn., Northumberland Fusiliers in France. He is buried in Arras Memorial Cemetery in Pas de Calais, France. His name is also shown in the churchyard memorial at St Ethelbert and All Saints Church, Belchamp Otten, Essex.
Died at the age of 24 on April 9th, 1917.
