Male Benjamin Goody

Benjamin was born on October 14th, 1911.  Benjamin's father was William Goody and his mother was Jane Sophia Martins.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Goody and Eliza Malster. He had four brothers and a sister, named Arthur, Alfred, David, Joseph and Olive.  He was the youngest of the six children.

1939 Register shows that he was living in 27 ????? ?????, Southend on Sea, Essex.
National Probate and Will records show the following:
Ben of 156 Central-avenue Southend-on-Sea Essex died 8 July 1947 at Southend Municipal Hospital Rochford Essex Administration Ipswich 19 July to Thomas William Goody farm worker.  Effects: £363 11s 8d.

1939 Register shows that he was a Butcher's Assistant.

Death Notes

Death was registered between July-Sept 1947 in Rochford Registration District at 36 years of age.
The Commonwealth Graves Commission records show that he was a Leading Aircraft Man in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.  His service number was 1860739 and he is buried in Grave number 17957, Plot U, Sutton Road Cemetery, Southend on Sea, Essex.
Died at the age of 35 on July 8th, 1947.
