Nora Marguerite Goodey
Nora was born on July 18th, 1894. Nora's father was
James Frederick Goodey and her mother was
Elizabeth Anne Stock. Her paternal grandparents were
James Frederic Goody and
Emma Draper. She had three brothers and two sisters, named
Ralph,
Clarence,
Claude,
May and
Queenie. She was the fifth oldest of the six children.
Birth was registered between July-Sept 1894 in Colchester Registration District.
Parish records show that she was christened in St Botolph Church, Colchester, Essex on 2nd March 1897 by R S John Mitchell whilst the family were living at Granville Road, Colchester, Essex on the same day as her brothers Ralph Herbert and Claude Augustus.
1901 Census shows that she was 6 years of age, born in Colchester, Essex and living at 9 Granville Road, St Botolph, Colchester, Essex.
