James Suckling
James was born in 1881. James' father was
William Suckling and his mother was
Catherine Jane Scurr. His paternal grandparents were
William Suckling and
Mary Waller. He had a brother and three sisters, named
William,
Catherine,
Emma and
Thirza. He was the fourth oldest of the five children.
He and his wife Mary Ann Elizabeth, along with their daughter, Ethel, were evacuated to Wales from London during the 2nd World War.
Ethel told us that her grandfather drove lorries when living in London.
Occupation Details
Whilst he was in London he was a Lorry Driver.
He is buried at St Denys's church in Llanishen, Wales.
Died at the age of 63 in 1944.

Mary Ann and
Ethel.
Marriage was registered between April-June 1903 in Stepney Registration District.
